Primadonna’s Italian menu is a reflection of chef Francois Laurin philosophy of keeping food simple by enhancing the natural flavours of the main ingredient. Francois Laurin discourages the over-use of extraneous ingredients that can muddle the palate in the interest of clever presentation, preferring to let properly selected and very fresh ingredients inform his restrained yet outstanding Italian cuisine.

Francois Laurin, Executive Chef
Chef Francois Laurin is the executive chef at Ristorante Primadonna. His style is summarized by the simplicity of his dishes. He strongly believes that by using good techniques you can easily avoid secondary ingredients that only serve to alter the dish and its natural tastes. When asked a quote that represents Chef Francois the most, he responded: “ Simple is better”
