Open in June 2000, Hotel Place d' Armes is Old Montreal's first boutique hotel. Its 83 luxurious rooms and 52 suites will surely charm you. Set in three historic Old Montreal buildings, it is only a few steps away from the Notre Dame Basilica, the Montreal Convention Center and the Old Port, and within walking distance of Downtown Montreal. Its sober and elegant decor blends the opulent and classic elements of the 1880 structures with modern minimalist touches. The intricate woodwork and brick walls add warmth to the guest rooms, along with their 200-thread count sheets, terrycloth bathrobes and towels and down comforters and pillows.
