Travelling Green, Even for Business!

The bus is an excellent solution for making the most of your time! No need to book ahead, no need to show up hours ahead of time. And the schedule allows for tremendous flexibility: there are departures every day and even every hour for certain routes.

Moreover, our schedules make it easy to catch your connections.

And that's not all: with the bus, you help reduce the greenhouse gas effect. One fewer car on the road for each passenger on the Orléans Express bus… that counts for something!

Before Boarding

Where, when, how to buy tickets? And what about luggage? What if a child is travelling alone? This is all important information to know before climbing aboard one of our buses.

Passengers

Club 60
Getting older has its advantages! Orléans Express offers reduced ticket prices for people aged 60 and up. To take advantage of this offer, simply show proof of age when you purchase your ticket and when you board the bus.

Babies
Our bus seats are not equipped to accommodate baby seats. Also we cannot offer a change table. Plan to bring a blanket with you so you can comfortably hold your child on your lap for the trip.

As a safety measure, we prohibit parents, as we do all other passengers, from walking in the central aisle while the bus is moving.

Children
Children five to 12 years of age can benefit from considerably lower ticket prices. What a good reason to travel together as a family! Children four and under travel free if they are travelling with a person who has bought a return ticket. For one-way trips, a fee of $5 will be applicable for any destination in the Orléans Express network. Only one child per passenger is eligible for this special. Please note that proof of age will be asked when the child will board the bus; make sure that you have all the requested documents to avoid any problems.

Children seven and under
Children seven and under must be accompanied by a person of at least 14 years of age.

Children eight and over
Under certain conditions, your child can travel alone safely on our buses. Ask for the document "Child Travelling Alone" when you buy his ticket. A child must be at least eight to travel alone with us.

Up to 12 years of age, a child travelling alone is not permitted to make connections outside our network, and you can purchase just a one-way ticket for him.

Lastly, for safety reasons, we prohibit children 12 and under to board and leave our buses in a city without an Orléans Express ticket agent.

Students
If you are a full-time student, you can receive some interesting discounts on your tickets. Simply present your student card when you purchase your ticketsand when you board the bus; and say hello to affordable travel!

And pets?
Pets are not allowed on board our buses. The only exception: guide dogs, which are essential for their owners… we always have space for them.
