MIX 96 is a high energy, hit-oriented radio station playing Today's Best Music from today's hottest artists.

Launched in the 70's as CJFM FM was more a wide mix of pop and rock. In the 80's it started to shift towards what we now know as MIX 96. Throughout the 90's, MIX 96 dominated the airwaves as it does to this day. MIX 96 is Montreal's home of the hits, reaching out to its over 590,000 listeners.

MIX is a community leader dedicated to serving its listeners, with initiatives like the annual Shave to Shave Breast Cancer fund-raising campaign which has raised over 2.5 million dollars. A campaign for the Children's Hospital has raised over 5 million dollars.
