The Victorino family has been into the automobile business for more than 33 years now. Nuno Victorino, the founder of Complexe Automobile Kia, first opened a little body shop in Plateau Mont-Royal named Carrosserie du Nord, which later became Fix Auto Plateau. Today, it is Mr. Victorino's two daughters who are in charge of the family business.
A few significant steps in the history of this successful family business:
- The opening of Carrosserie du Nord in 1975 and the addition of a service department in 1977;
- In 1999, the company takes a big step forward by opening a second Fix Auto body shop in Eastern Montreal, together with a pre-owned vehicles dealership, Complexe Automobile Premier Choix, then the only dealership to own one of the largest used vehicles showrooms in Quebec;
- Later in 2005, Mr. Victorino decides to go under the banner of Kia, which is then strongly growing in popularity in North-America. Kia Pointe-aux-Trembles is created;
- Mr. Victorino's constantly increasing clientele leads him to open a third Fix Auto body shop in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve;
- Today, Complexe Automobile Kia can be found at one single address: 11700 Sherbrooke East, in Montreal, on the corner of 3rd Avenue.
A family history
Sharing the same passion for automobiles, Monica and Karina Victorino succeeded their father in the management of the company.
- Monica Victorino serves as General manager;
- Karina Victorino is the liaison officers Coordinator (body shop);
- Thierry Victorino (Mr. Victorino's nephew) is in charge of Fix Auto Plateau.
Together, they join their efforts to insure continuous customer satisfaction.
