Since 1992, K.I.D.S. Day Camp has become an internationally recognized name in Montreal area camps for our dedication to child development, professionalism, accountability and our excellent safety record.
Our campers receive essential life experiences that are not traditionally found through educational channels. K.I.D.S. Day Camp provides campers with a nourishing environment for social development along with outside-the-box learning. Through our varied activities campers develop an expanded knowledge base of skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

TIRED OF HAVING NOTHING TO DO ALL SUMMER LONG?
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A STRONG LEADER?If YOU think you have what it takes to be an outstanding Day Camp Counsellor then the K.I.D.S. Day Camp at Villa Maria has exciting news for you. This summer, K.I.D.S. is offering selected teens in Grades 7 and 8 the opportunity to develop leadership and programming skills through our innovative C.I.T. (Counsellor in Training ) program.This program will give you hands-on experience. You will learn how to create and implement programs for children between the ages of 3 and 10. Not only will you develop effective programming skills, you will also strengthen your public relations capabilities and your self-confidence. You will enjoy participating in FUN camper and staff activities, making full use of Villa Maria' spacious grounds, fully equipped athletic facilities and tennis courts .C.I.T.s chosen will be under the direct guidance of the camp directors and will work with experienced group leaders and qualified specialists. Training will focus on:- leadership skills
- program development
- arts and crafts
- landsports: including soccer, tennis, and archery
- creative games.
As part of your daily training, you will be given supervised group placements to reinforce and to practice these skills.
The K.I.D.S. Day Camp C.I.T. program gives teens the tools needed to work effectively with children as future counsellors, birthday party leaders, and as community workers. Most importantly, the program is designed to give you an amazing summer experience that is both challenging and fun!

TEEN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The K.I.D.S. DAY CAMP Teen Leadership Program is now offering Grade 9 students the opportunity to develop and enhance leadership skills. This dynamic new program focuses on the planning and implementation of activities for children aged 3-12. In addition to working directly with our campers on a daily basis, the teen leaders will participate in various workshops. These include learning to create and conduct activities for children, conflict resolution sessions, group management skills, and strategies for meeting the needs of the individual camper within the group as a whole.The Teen Leadership Program gives young adults the tools needed to work effectively with children as future counsellors. Most importantly, the program is designed to provide an amazing summer experience that is both challenging and rewarding.
