The Quebec Minister of Culture and Communications recognizes the Centre as a museum institution.
June 2003
After a period of renovations (new 500m² space, new permanent exhibition), the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Museum is inaugurated by Canada's Prime Minister and the Premier of Quebec.
2005
The Centre receives the Jewish Community Service Award, in recognition of its remarkable initiatives and its capacity to carry out a diversity of programs.
2008
The Centre adopts an action plan that defines the organization's priorities in relation to education, the Museum, commemorative programs and the transmission of memory.
