The talent and the originality of the architect Pat Ruddy conferred a style quite particular to this superb public course. In 2003 this Parkland was recognized by Golf Illustrated magazine as being the second most beautiful public course in Quebec.
The design of this vast public golf course was created by the world-renowned golf architect, Graham Cooke. In 1998, Club de Golf Métropolitain Anjou won an award of excellence in the category of "Best New Courses".
Golf Dorval, which celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2011, has acquired an impressive record over its years in operation. Architect Mr. Graham Cooke had quite a challenge designing two golf courses with international standards in an urban environment.
Today, stakeholders depend on Golf Québec to knowledgeably, professionally and proactively build interest in, and excitement around the game of golf.
Meadowbrook began life as part of the Canadian Pacific Recreation Club of Montreal.
“In 1957, several members of Montreal’s Jewish community decided to establish Pinegrove. Today, the Club has a membership of just over 500 individuals from every community. The initial Board of Directors enlisted the talents of the noted golf course architect Howard Watson.
Royal Montreal is the oldest golf club in North America, having been founded in 1873. In that year, a small group of eight gentlemen sat in a dockside office and formed the Montreal Golf Club.
